Raindrop's Window Jewelry

My morning project is complete and I really like how they turned out so I wanted to share. I have a collection of shiny & special things that hang from my kitchen window curtain rod. It started out with wine charms linked together and was added to when I received a dragon sun catcher from Australia made by a friend. The collection is now growing along with my interest in glass beads. I created more window jewelry today. I have no doubts someday soon I will be taking down the handmade curtains and replacing them with strands of glass beaded window jewelry!

back to the drawing board...sort of

I came across some zentangle art on the Creative Home Arts Club website. I thought it was really neat...how fun to create art from doodles & relax the mind, all at the same time. In my hopes to share this with a lucky someone I started drawing on the front of a 4 x 6 blank card. My end result was much better than I thought it was going to be when I started! I'm now getting ready to start my 3rd card like this..yep, I'm hooked.

Friendship marks a life even more deeply than love. Love risks degenerating into obsession, friendship is never anything but sharing. -Elie Wiesel

Fingers Crossed

My little Hobbes would like nothing more than the snow to melt so he can go out & play...instead he's decided to pester me. I've been struck with a creative streak that hasn't quit yet (I'm not complaining!) I've finished all the projects I mentioned the last time I blogged. I had to find something new! I've had the on-going stress of dealing with doctors at least twice a week, for over a month now...it's annoying when nobody can tell you what's wrong. I had more tests done on Friday and with fingers crossed & everyone's prayers I should have an answer this week. I'm keeping busy, as much as my body will allow. I've made 17 new cards & started another blanket. I'm looking forward to working on bags again soon (I hope).

Many projects..

I often wonder how many projects I can have going on at once. I try to have another one started before one is finished, so I always have something to work on. The "candy cane scarf", as I call it, was finished a few nights ago. The green and white blanket is almost done, just need to piece it together. It started as something to keep me busy while watching "24" on netflix at night when the kids went to bed. I've also come to the conclusion that every president needs a "Jack Bower" on his side. ; )
So now, on with the pictures!

The beautiful collection of cards are an ongoing project. I've been selling them at $2.00 a card (not including shipping). They haven't made it to my website since they sell too fast to post new ones.

...and the newest project I've completed went to my son for his 11th birthday yesterday.
