Just enjoying nature..

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm. It's a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Little Rays of Sun

August must be my month for sunflowers!
I love the colors on each petal.

It looks as if each petal is painted with care. This one broke when the storm came through the other night. As it found it's way into a vase, I was inspired to start another painting. It's not quite done yet, but I wanted to share.

Something about painting, and taking your time doing it, soothes the soul.

infinite beauty

The variety of red sunflowers in the front flower bed catch my attention every day. They are still changing & growing. This is my first time growing these. I still might attempt gourds, but we have left over pumpkins growing again this year. I'm so thankful for all the helpers I have everyday! They even took care of the morning glory vines!
This is what happens when you have coffee on the brain : ) . I found a new "toy" ..which is actually glue! Elmer's Spray Adhesive is a brilliant product! Although, I must admit it almost sticks too well. I had to wash my hand three times before it came off. It definitely made me think of more creative things to use it on!
Another bag is in the works too!

pictures of infinite beauty if only we
have eyes to see them."
